- Built and opened in 1960, the Age of Steam Railroad Museum displays the history of railroads in the United States and in the southwest. All the engines and cars on display are all static display. Some engines are operational, however are still on static display. The entry way of the museum is a historical 1876 H&TC station. Relocated and restored by the Age of Steam, it now serves as the entry way to the world of the trains.
- Most of the engines here have had large places in history. The museum is operated by the Southwest Railroad Historical Society and concentrates it's efforts and all entry fees to the restoration and saving of railroads around the world.
