- The only temporary Texas Centennial structure to survive.
- Constructed in 1936, the D.A.R. House was originally used to house the Continental Oil Company's Hospitality House. Guests could relax on the porch or visit the travel bureau inside the house. During the Pan American Exhibition of 1937, the house was donated to the Daughter's of the American Revolution. The building now contains collection from past fair's and historical documents. The building is only open to the public during the annual State Fair of Texas.
