- The Fair Park Bandshell, the outdoor amphitheater for Fair Park.
- Built in 1936, the Fair Park Bandshell is still used today for what it was originally intended to be. Featuring a 25 foot high shell with a 30 foot deep stage, the Bandshell provides a very pleasant venue for outdoor performances. Used in the Texas Centennial for classical musical performances of Jazz and swing bands, the venue provided a better show at night due to it's lightning and surrounding pylons. The structure is surrounded by several 30 foot tall lightning pylons and features permanent seating for 3,800 people and maximum capacity for 4,800. In 1962, the movie State Fair filmed a scene with Ann Margaret and Pat Boone inside the Bandshell. Other venues were included as well in this remake of the Roger and Hammerstein's play.
- In 1941, an addition was constructed to expanded the backstage facilities of the bandshell. In 2000, the Bandshell was completely dismantled and renovated and restored to original 1936 specs. The lighting pylons were restored and repainted as well as the entire facade. In 2002, the seating area was renovated with all new wooden seating and the renovation was completed. Today the bandshell hosts the very popular "Birds of the World" show during the State Fair of Texas.
