- Fair Park Coliseum, the first multi-purpose indoor arena for the State Fair of Texas.
- Built in 1955, after many years of planning and design. The Coliseum sits on the former grounds of the Fair Park Speedway and horse track. The Coliseum is noticeable due to it's vast contrast to the other structures in Fair Park. The teal metal sided building stands just to the east of the Cotton Bowl and provides a large arena for concerts and sporting events. In the 1960's, the Dallas Blackhawks played hockey in the coliseum due to it being the largest indoor arena in the city. In 1990, the coliseum received a renovation preparing it for it's use as a hockey arena once again. The Dallas Freeze played minor league hockey here from 1990-1993 until the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas.
- The Coliseum is now host to mainly touring concert acts and rodeo performances. Recent headliners include the Foo Fighters, Avril Lagvine, Green Day and many many others.
