- The Food and Fiber Pavilion has played host to various Agriculture and natural exhibits since it's construction for the 1936 Texas Centennial.
- Built in 1936, the Food and Fiber Pavilion was the sister and twin building of the Embarcadero across Nimitz Ave. Currently the building stands as the shining force in the latest Fair Park recovery and redevelopment. The building was one of the first to get a full renovation back to 1936 specifications, including the 3 outdoor aviaries which were silent for several year. The latest renovation returned the inside back into the grand exhibit hall it once was and provided some much needed modern amenities.
