- The only outdoor amphitheater in the City of Dallas.
- Constructed in 1987 for $10,000,000, the venue brought national headlining music regularly for the first time in many years. The venue was designed for acts to large for the clubs and small venues of Deep Ellum and too small for the local stadiums (Cotton Bowl and Texas Stadium). The venue also gave Dallas an outdoor comfortable venue for warm weather events. The amphitheater features a large 7,533 reserved seating area covered by a large roof. A sloped lawn of grass features general admission seating for another 12,578 people. The venue also feature two entrances and several food stands, bathrooms and merchandise locations.
- In the 1999, the Coca-Cola name was dropped from the official title and the venue was renamed "Starplex Amphitheater". In 2000, Smirnoff Distilleries signed an 8-year contract with the City of Dallas and the venue was renamed "Smirnoff Music Centre". The venue is now under management of the Live Nation and has hosted well over 5,000 concerts and festivals in its lifetime.
- January 30, 2008, the venue was once again renamed to “SuperPages.com Center” after the contract with Smirnoff Distilleries expired.
