- One of the smaller buildings in Fair Park. Built in 1936 as the Hall of Religion, the building is located directly behind the Automobile Building.
- After the Texas Centennial, the building was used to house Lone Star Gas Exhibitions and later was used at the Fair Park Visitor's Center. The building was later used to house the African American Museum exhibits while the permanent structure was being constructed. From 1987-1989, the building housed the Dallas Historical Society's offices during the Hall of State renovation. Currently the building houses the Dallas Park and Recreation Department offices (responsible for upkeep at Fair Park) and it in dire need of a renovation and restoration.
- Currently, the Hall of Religion is undergoing a new expansion and renovation to turn this building into the Texas! Music Center in 2008. This new museum will feature artifacts, guitars and much more from Texas musicians and artists who lived and wrote their music in Texas. The museum has plans to expand the old Hall of Religion to it's former grand expanse of 8,000 ft² with a future hopeful expansion of up to 14,000 ft².
