 - Dedicated in 1990 by President George Bush Sr., the Texas Vietnam Veterans's Memorial is dedicated to the 3,415 Texans who were killed in the Vietnam War from 1961-1975.

 - Located at the Parry Ave. Entrance gates, the memorial was constructed on the former site of a wooden Implement Building, sunken garden and miniature golf course. The memorial like it's sister in Washington D.C. was constructed and paid for completely by private and public donations. The memorial is constructed 4 large Texas granite stones and surrounded by granite blocks for seating and a water garden. The granite blocks are engraved with the names of all fallen, birthday, death date and military branch.
